TERMS OF REFERENCE

  • To formulate Technical Materials on Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) in consultation with the Accounting Standards Board.
  • To deal with industry-specific issues involved in implementation of Ind AS.
  • To interact with Governments/Regulators on issues related to implementation of Ind AS.
  • To interact with national and international bodies on issues in implementation of Ind AS.
  • To take adequate steps to enhance knowledge of the members and other stakeholders for proper implementation of Ind AS by conducting workshops, seminars, Certificate Course on Ind AS in India and abroad, and train the trainers programmes.
  • To develop Course Material for Certificate Course and e-learning.
  • To develop & conduct Diploma Course on Ind AS /IFRS.
  • To co-ordinate with Accounting Standards Board regarding issues in Ind AS and IFRS.
  • To co-ordinate with Direct Taxes Committee, Indirect Taxes Committee and Corporate Laws and Corporate Governance Committee and other Committees of the Institute with regard to various issues in Ind AS.
  • To explore international and domestic opportunities for members in the area of Ind AS and IFRS.
  • To deal with any other tasks related to implementation of Ind AS.
