- To represent, support, and strengthen Chartered Accountants working in Industry and Business and to take necessary measures to enhance their professional competence, leadership capabilities, and contribution to the corporate sector.
- To interact with Regulators, Government Bodies, and Industry Associations on matters affecting members in Industry and Business.
- To promote and develop collaborative Knowledge-based publications for industry-specific members in Industry and Business.
- To Interact, explore, and develop programmes with various Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Governments, Ministries, and regulatory authorities for Members in Industry and Business.
- To develop a sector-wise data bank of the Members in industry and Business to enhance their participation in mainstream activities of the Institute.
- To encourage and recognize national and international Leaders and other achievers of the Industry making ICAI Proud.
- To tie-up with management institutes, business schools and Universities and organise programmes, Executives Development Programmes for members in Industry and Business.
- To organize talk shows, panel discussions, CFO/CEO forums and knowledge-sharing platforms to promote networking among Members in Industry and Business.
- To organize seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops, national and international Residential Refresher Courses (RRCs).
- To work closely with ICAI overseas chapters for organizing programmes and member engagement activities and to enhance the global recognition of Indian Chartered Accountants in industry roles abroad.
- To facilitate formation and functioning of CPE Study circles for Members in Industry and Business.
- To conduct business skill enhancement activities and mentorship programmes to foster an ecosystem that encourages entrepreneurship and innovation among Chartered Accountants.
- To conceptualize, develop and maintain a dedicated online portal/webpage for the Committee to showcase its upcoming programmes, events, initiatives and other activities for the benefit of members and stakeholders.
- To leverage social media platforms for promoting and disseminating information regarding the Committee’s programmes, events, and initiatives in accordance with ICAI Social Media policy.
