About Board of Studies-Operations

Board of Studies-Operations is an important non-standing Committee of Institute. The main objective of this Board is to impart world class training to Chartered Accountancy Students by conducting training courses on Orientation, Information Technology, Advanced Information Technology Training and Management & Communication Skills Courses which are regulatory in nature. These training courses are conducted through IT and Soft Skills Centres established across PAN India. The Batches of Four Weeks Residential Programmes for CA Students are also conducted by the Board at Centre of Excellence at Hyderabad and Jaipur. In addition to imparting training courses, Board also organizes Conferences under different nomenclature i.e. International Conference of CA Students, National Conference of CA Students, Mega Conference of CA Students, State Level Conference of CA Students and Branch Level Conferences for the benefits of CA Students across the country. One Day Seminars, Half Day Seminars, Sports Competition, CA Students Festivals, Workshops, Special Counselling Programme, Industrial Visits and National Talent Contests are also conducted by the Board. Board also provides scholarship to CA Students under different categories. These courses/activities aim to equip students with competencies and professional skill sets looked up by business, industry, economic reforms taking place and increasing regulatory requirement adhered by accountancy profession. To keep a pace with the changing economic, business, regulatory compliance with regard to accounting, auditing, taxation and other emerging opportunities for accountants, the Board aims to develop CA Students as complete Business Managers with an all-round personality encompassing Managerial Skills, Soft Skills, Communication Skill, oratory skills, presentation skills and ultimately helping in the enhancement of the overall image of the profession.

Terms of Reference

To recommend the policies to the Council governing IT and Soft Skills training, Industrial training and extra co-curricular activities for students undergoing Chartered Accountancy Course.
