CA. Mangesh Pandurang Kinare has been elected as the Vice-President of the world’s largest accounting body, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), for the Council year 2026–27. He is widely recognised for his dynamic and visionary leadership, adaptability, steadfast optimism, and ability to drive collective advancement.

He is currently serving his third term as a Central Council Member of ICAI, holding several key positions. He has served as Chairman of the Professional Development Committee and the Committee on Public and Government Financial Management, Vice-Chairman of the Centre of Excellence Directorate, member of multiple ICAI committees, and part of the Disciplinary Committee Bench for six years. CA. Mangesh Pandurang Kinare has also been nominated by ICAI as its representative on various national and international bodies.

A highly respected Chartered Accountant with over 33 years of distinguished experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and corporate governance, he is a graduate of the University of Mumbai and a fellow member of ICAI. He continues to demonstrate professional excellence and leadership throughout his career.

In addition, he serves as an Independent Director in limited companies. His expertise spans GST, audits, and corporate consultancy. A renowned faculty on GST and the Code of Ethics, he has been a speaker at various prestigious forums, sharing his insights and knowledge.

Previously, he served as Chairman of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI during 2013–14. He has been actively involved in the education and social sectors as a trustee of several trusts and as faculty across institutes, universities, and prominent platforms. He also contributed to public policy as a member of two committees constituted by the Government of Maharashtra.

His enduring commitment to the profession and society continues to inspire and shape the next generation of Chartered Accountants.
