Relaxation under Uniform Postal / Sunday Test Scheme for the purpose of granting eligibility to appear in Professional Education (Examination – I) , Professional Education (Examination – II) and Final Examination.

In continuation of earlier Announcement Bos/Ancmnt/01/06 dated January 5, 2006 on this subject , it has been decided that Branches of the Institute which are conducting oral coaching classes for Professional Education ( Course–I) , Professional Education ( Course – II) and Final Course will continue to organize eligibility tests as part of the coaching programme. Tests conducted by such branches of the Institute will be duly recognized for the purpose of granting eligibility to appear in Professional Education (Examination – I) , Professional Education ( Examination – II) and Final Examination.

Considering the requests made by other accredited institutions (other than Branches of the Institute), it has been decided that such other accredited institutions conducting oral coaching classes for Professional Education (Course–I), Professional Education (Course – II) and Final Course will continue to organize eligibility tests as a part of the coaching programme for the benefit of students who are admitted on or before 31st January, 2006 to such accredited institutions. Accredited institutions other than branches of the Institute are advised not to conduct any eligibility test for the benefit of students admitted thereafter. This relaxation is granted as a transition. Students admitted for oral coaching classes after 31st January, 2006 will be covered under uniform Postal / Sunday Test Scheme.

Under uniform Postal / Sunday Test Scheme, a student of Professional Education (Course – I) has to submit and pass in four postal test papers taking one from each subject.

A student of Professional Education (Course –II), who is not covered under Sunday Test Scheme, has to submit and pass in six postal test papers taking one from each subject. Students belonging to Mumbai, Chennai , Kolkata, Delhi , Kanpur , Ahmedabad, Bangalore , Hyderabad , Jaipur and Pune are covered under Sunday Test Scheme. Accordingly, they have to appear and pass six Sunday Tests taking one from each subject.

A Student of Final Course, who is not covered under Optional Sunday Test Scheme, has to submit and pass in eight postal test papers taking one from each subject. Students belonging to Mumbai, Chennai , Kolkata, Delhi , Kanpur , Ahmedabad, Bangalore , Hyderabad , Jaipur and Pune are covered under Optional Sunday Test Scheme. Accordingly, they may opt to appear and pass six Sunday Tests taking one from each subject. However, a final student , who is covered under Optional Sunday Test Scheme, has the flexible choice to partly undergo Postal Test Scheme and partly the Sunday Test Scheme.
