The members have been informed in the fee circular letter sent by DCOs that they can interalia subscribe to the 'Group Protection Solution (CABF) Scheme' by paying the premium amount for the scheme. The members were also apprised of the salient features of the scheme. A few queries were received from the members about the mode of payment and also premium calculation. It is clarified that they can pay the premium with their membership fees in composite manner. The cheque/demand draft may be drawn in favour of 'The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India' Decentralised Office at Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pune (as applicable). It may be ensured that the Health Declaration Format and certificate of Date of Birth are also sent.
