Q.1: Is Board of Studies offering free live classes at all levels?
Ans: Yes, Board of Studies offers free live classes of Foundation, Intermediate and Final levels.

Q.2: Where can I find the Live Learning Classes? What are the various options to join the Live Learning Classes?
Ans: Students can see after login the Live Learning Classes at BoS Knowledge Portal link https://boslive.icai.org/ with their student registration number and date of birth updated as per Self Service Portal (SSP) records. Students can also download ICAI-BOS Mobile App from Google (https://cutt.ly/tmpGroW) and Apple play store (https://apple.co/3ASDM9v) and avail the benefits of free Live Learning Classes and enhance their knowledge and learning skills.

Q.3: While trying to login in the BoS Knowledge Portal, it is showing data is not matching. How can I login?
Ans: Students have to fill their correct – Student Registration Number and Date of Birth as recorded in the Self Service Portal (SSP) so that validation can be done and, thereafter, only student will be allowed to enter in the BoS Knowledge Portal.

Q.4: In spite of filling my details correctly, I am unable to login. How can I proceed ahead?

Ans: Try one more time and, if not able to do, send your error message with screen shot at 1- bosmobileapp[at]icai[dot]in 2- virtualclasses[at]icai[dot]in or call at 0120-3876898.

Q.5: While doing login, whether I have to mention 10 digits registration number.

Ans: Students have to enter their 10-digit Student Registration Number with combination of NRO/SRO/ERO/WRO/CRO and remaining 7-digit starting with zero (0).

Q.6: What is FRO, mentioned in Registration Number?

Ans: The full form of FRO is Foreign Regional Office. Like NRO/SRO/ERO etc., for foreign students, it is prefixed with their student’s registration number.

Q.7: I am a Direct Entry Student and having Provisional registration number. How can I login as I do not have student registration number.

Ans: Till the time registration is confirmed in Self Service Portal (SSP), such students can view the recorded lectures of current and previous batch through YouTube (https://youtube.com/c/IcaiOrgtube/).

Q.8: Do we have to wait for the confirmation after course conversion or revalidation for login in BoS Knowledge Portal?

Ans: No. students can login with their Student Registration Number and Date of Birth as recorded in the SSP portal.

Q.9: I am an Intermediate student and after login, I have noticed that I cannot see any other contents relating to Foundation or Final Course. Whether Intermediate students can view other course contents.

Ans: BoS Knowledge Portal is course specific. In other words, Foundation Course students can view the lectures, recorded lectures, study material, mock test, etc. of Foundation Course only. Likewise, Intermediate students can view Intermediate Course related material and Final Course students can only see Final course related lectures, study material, etc.

Q.10: How can I download Faculty Notes and Assignments as the files are not downloading in my system. What should I do?

Ans: You are required to login BoS Knowledge Portal and go to heading “Download Notes and Assignment”. After clicking on heading of particular notes or assignment, the same by default will be downloaded and saved in your system. Alternatively, you can download ICAI-BOS Mobile App from Google and Apple play store and see heading Live Learning Classes and access the Download Notes and Assignment option.

Q.11: Where can I download the schedule of Live Learning Classes of current batch?

Ans: Students can download the classes schedule either from BoS Knowledge Portal or ICAI-BOS Mobile App at their respective heading. Board of Studies (Academic) is updating schedule every month in advance, and you will get notification for the same through Mobile App for regular updates, if any.

Q.12: While attending the Live Classes, how can I clarify my doubts?

Ans: After login in BoS Knowledge Portal, student may ask their queries through query box in live session only. Faculty may answer their queries during the live session itself or use “Ask Your Query” feature in Mobile App raising subject specific query and get reply within 72 working hours after raising the query. Moreover, Faculty are assessing students conceptual understanding from the MCQ based test on the topic and in the next class are removing their doubts first and then teaching next topic.

Q.13: How can I view the last batch Foundation/Intermediate/Final course lectures of Live Classes?

Ans: For viewing the previous batch lectures of Foundation/Intermediate/Final Course, student can visit https://boslive.icai.org/, after login students can view the previous batch (May/November) recorded lectures and their respective notes. Students may also see the previous batch recorded lectures in ICAI-BOS Mobile App in respective heading or ICAI CA tube (https://youtube.com/c/IcaiOrgtube/)

Q.14: Whether we have to login again for accessing other students' portal in BoS Knowledge Portal or Mobile App?

Ans: For visiting e-books and Practical Training Assessment Portal, students are required, as of now, to again login as per their registration details as recorded in the Self Service Portal (SSP). For other portals, students can only access the link to login and will be re-directed to the respective portal to access the same.

Q. 15: Where can I see the latest announcements of BoS and Examination?

Ans: Students can see the latest announcements at the BoS Knowledge Portal under the heading BoS and Examination announcements at link https://boslive.icai.org/ or ICAI-BOS Mobile App in Announcements section.

Q.16: What do I do if old contents of study material are appearing in BoS Knowledge Portal or Mobile App?

Ans: Before complaining to helpdesk, please refresh the page (browser/ mobile app) by Logging out and then Login, the contents will be updated.

Q.17: To whom I can send my complaint on any issue relating to BoS Knowledge Portal?

Ans: Students are advised to read the FAQs before sending their complaint, if required at bosmobileapp[at]icai[dot]in or virtualclasses[at]icai[dot]in for any issue related to BoS Knowledge Portal or ICAI-BOS Mobile App.
