4th January 2016

Eligibility to apply for the Information Systems Audit (Assessment Test), i.e. ISA-AT scheduled to be held on 23rd January 2016.

The forthcoming ISA-AT is scheduled on 23rd January 2016. An announcement dated 1st January 2016 in this regard is hosted on this website.

Members who are registered for the Information Systems Audit (ISA) course and have passed the Information Systems Audit (Eligibility Test)(ISA-ET) are eligible to apply for the ISA-AT scheduled to be held on 23rd January 2016.

Queries are being received from members as to whether members who have registered for the ISA course and have completed professional training classes, daily class/module tests/project work etc., but have not passed ISA-ET are eligible to apply for the ISA-AT scheduled on 23rd January 2016 or not.

It is hereby clarified that “ISA-ET” for the purpose of eligibility to apply for ISA-AT scheduled on 23rd January 2016 means the one day ISA-ET which is held in May and November every year. The last such ISA-ET was held in May 2015. It does not include the class tests/module tests which have been put in place in the recent past.

In this connection, it is hereby informed that the eligibility of such members who are registered for the ISA course and have completed professional training, daily class/module tests/project work etc., as per the new scheme put in place by the Committee of Information Technology, but have not passed the one-day ISA-ET, is slated for consideration of the Council at its forthcoming meeting on 17-19th January 2016. The decision in this regard will be announced in due course.

As such, those members who are registered for the ISA course and have completed practical training or daily class/module tests/project work etc., but have not passed the one-day ISA-ET, are not eligible to apply for the ISA-AT scheduled to be held on 23rd January 2016.
