The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) proposes to launch the Certificate Course on Labour Laws, recognizing the critical role of labour legislation in safeguarding workers' rights and ensuring compliance in today's business environment.
Objective
The course aims to enhance members’ knowledge of labour laws and create awareness about professional opportunities in this field. It will empower Chartered Accountants to advise clients, ensure compliance, handle audits, litigation, and play a vital role in corporate governance.

Duration & Mode:
- Physical Mode: Up to 30 hours spread over 5 days
- Online Mode: Up to 30 hours spread over 10 days
|
Eligibility: Members of ICAI
|
Course Fees:
- Physical: ₹12,500 + GST
- Online: ₹5,000 + GST
|
CPE Credit:
- 25 hours on completion of 75% attendance
- 5 hours on successfully qualifying the evaluation test (minimum 50% marks)
|
Evaluation:
- 3-hour online test with 100 MCQs (no negative marking)
- Passing criteria: 50% marks
- 1st attempt included in fee; subsequent attempts: ₹1,000 + GST
|
Batch Size:
- Physical: Minimum 40 participants
- Online: Maximum 220 participants
|
Refund Policy:
- 10% deduction if cancelled before commencement.
- No refund after commencement, but option to attend remaining sessions in a future batch.
- Full refund if course cancelled/postponed by ICAI
|
Certificate on completion of the Course:
A certificate will be awarded to the members on successful completion of the course and passing the examination.
