I am pleased to inform that the stage is set for polling for the bye-election to the Council which is to take place on 16th and 17th September, 2022 in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad (MH), Bhayandar, Chinchwad, Dombivali, Kalyan, Mira Road, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Rajkot, Surat, Thane and Vadodara cities and on 17th September, 2022 in all other cities where polling booths have been set up in accordance with the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006. I am sure, you must be excited to exercise your franchise to elect leadership of the Institute for not only to manage the affairs but to take the profession to newer heights.

I am writing now to request you to continue to follow COVID-19 protocol and especially maintaining adequate social distance norms in and around polling booth besides wearing of face mask.

Kindly take a note that use of mobile phone and other communication devices are not permitted inside the polling booth including secret chamber. Any violation will be dealt with, according to the rules.

Please make sure that you use only Arabic numerals like 1, 2, 3 and so on while marking your preferences in the ballot paper. Any other manner of marking preference will render the ballot paper as invalid.
