In the series of Training Programmes organized by Committee on Public Finance & Government Accounting on the theme “Accrual Accounting, Budgetary Control & Audit Framework” for the officials of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, subsequent programme in the series was held from 18th to 20th November 2014 at ICAI Tower, BKC, Mumbai.
The said Training Programme was inaugurated by CA. Vijay Garg, Chairman, Committee on Public Finance & Government Accounting (CPF&GA), CA. Tarun Jamnadas Ghia, Central Council Member and Special Invitee, CPF&GA, ICAI, Shri V.D. Bobade, Chief Engineer (C.T.I. & R.C.), Shri Kewalanand Barve, Chief Accountant, WSSD, Shri Haribhau Nikam, Chief Accountant (Finance), Shri Vishwanath B Satpute, Municipal Chief Auditor and Smt. Hemlata Yekhe, Chief Accountant, Treasury, MCGM. Also present were Dr. Nikhil Saket, Secretary, Committee on Public Finance & Government Accounting of ICAI.
All the key issues related to “Accrual Accounting, Budgetary Control & Audit Framework” were taken up in detail by expert faculties. CA. Shweta Agarwal, CA. Sudha Shetty, CA. Jayesh kulkarni, CA. Amogh Gore, CA. Ravi Shah, CA. Nikhil Kothari, CA. Pratap Kadam, CA. Abhay Desai, CA. Vijay Kewalramani, CA. Mahendra Chaturmutha, CA. Manoj Makhania, CA. Suhail Menon, CA. Sunil Shah, CA. Babasaheb Mane and CA. Hashit Jagasheth deliberated on the various topics of the Training Programme.
The Training Programme was held in three batches which were simultaneously held. Programme was very interactive and fruitful and was attended by large number of officials of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
