Certificate Course on Internal Audit has been completely revamped by Board of Internal Audit and Management Accounting, ICAI with new topics and heavy dose of information technology, being launched in a contemporary format to serve the needs of all stakeholders.

Course Objectives: The Certificate Course on Internal Audit has been designed to help the members-

• Enhance the expertise of the Chartered Accountant in Internal Audit.
• Build Governance, Risk and Compliance as one of their core competencies.
• Help certified members to distinguish themselves from others conducting internal audits.

Course Duration: The duration of the course is spread over ten days.

Eligibility for Course: Members of ICAI

Course Fee: The fee for the course to be paid online is as follows:
For Online batches (through digital learning hub): Rs. 5900/- (Including 18% GST)
For Physical Batches: Rs. 11,800 (Rs. 10,000 per participant +18% GST)

Batch size: Batch size is
For Online batch maximum 200 participants
For physical batch 35 (minimum) participants to 50 (maximum) participants.

CPE Hours: CPE Credit of 30 hours of structured learning will be given to the participants (as per CPE guidelines).

Final Assessment Passing Criteria:

• A candidate will have to attend 80% of classes, failing which he/she will not be entitled for appearing in the examination.
• The minimum marks required for passing is 50% i.e. 50 marks out of 100.
• There is no. of limit of Permissible number of attempts of evaluation tests.

Course Structure

Registration: Course Registration is on First-Come-First Served basis on receipt of online course fee.

Certificate: Participants who successfully complete the course in line with the evaluation criteria outlined here and qualify the evaluation test will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

It is clarified for information of the members that Certificate Course on Internal Audit is a Certificate Course. On successful completion of this Course, a member is awarded a Certificate to this effect. However, a Certificate Course does not grant any qualification, and therefore, it should not be mentioned by the members as qualification along with their name.
