| Invites applications for the position of DEAN, who shall function as Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation. |
| ICAI Accounting Research Foundation has been promoted by ICAI set up under The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, and has commenced its operations recently. The main objective of ICAI Accounting Research Foundation is to establish itself as an academy of international standards for the purpose of imparting, disseminating, spreading and promoting knowledge, learning, education and understanding in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, Fiscal laws and policy and allied disciplines. All the activities of the Foundation would be reinforcing and research shall be the nucleus of all the activities. |
| The incumbent shall be required to plan, promote, manage and control an academy in fulfillment of the said objective of the Foundation. The Dean shall be the Chief Executive Officer and as such should also have administrative skills and proven ability to build a research institution of International repute and eminence. He should be a conceptualist with excellent communication skills and capable of leading a team of skilled and highly ambitious researchers in the challenging environment. He shall be responsible for the overall functioning of the Foundation, including planning its future and ensuring the role of a catalyst in meeting the objectives of the Foundation. |
| The individual to be appointed as a Dean should have research orientation, managerial skills and proven ability to build a research institution of International repute. The candidate should be Doctorate with focus in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, Fiscal laws, Economics, Financial Management and other allied areas and should be a member of ICAI, with minimum of 20 years of experience in an organization of repute and should be currently working in a senior position. The preferable age profile of the incumbent should be about 50 years. |
| The Foundation offers excellent salary and perks and for the deserving candidate, salary would not be a constraint. The minimum gross remuneration is likely to be over Rs. 55,000/- per month. However, for the deserving candidate, higher start can be considered. |
