With a view to enhance the brand image of the profession, the Council at its 254th meeting held in August, 2005 decided that members of the Institute may use the letters 'CA.' (insted of 'C.A.') as prefix to their names. The Council is of the View that use of letter CA. as prefix to the name of a member would not give any impression that it is the initials of the member. The members may accordingly use CA. as prefix to their names.
