XBRL (India) is a not-for-profit entity registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013, promoted by the The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). ICAI is a statutory body established for regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. During its glorious existence of 70 years, ICAI has achieved many milestones and currently stands tall as a second largest Accountancy Body in the world.

XBRL (India) was created by ICAI to enable the nation with best of international practices in the field of reporting and dissemination of financial information. There is growing need for replacing older, paper-based reports with more useful, more effective and more accurate digital versions. XBRL standard is one such mechanism that has gained momentum in recent years. Global users of XBRL platforms include many important constituents of this new digital era such as Regulators (Prudential Authorities, Capital market Authorities, Tax Authorities etc.), Governments, Analysts and Investors, Data Providers, Accountants and Companies.

XBRL (India) has successfully developed Taxonomies for financial reporting required under Indian Companies Act and enabled the prime stakeholders such as Government Authorities, Regulators, Analysts etc. with an efficient and economic data base of companies financial information. Now, the XBRL (India) strategy is to move on to the next phase of XBRL platforms in India. Accordingly, it intends to enhance and strengthen its capabilities to realise its mission of facilitating use of XBRL platform across larger and wider spectrum like Prudential Regulations, Government Data and Analysis. In this context, XBRL (India) is looking for suitable human resources across Senior and Middle Management level positions as follows:

Senior Management - Chief Executive Officer

Middle Management - Business Development Manager

Qualification and Experience:

• The candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 15 years post qualification experience for senior management level and must be Chartered Accountant/MBA with IT background with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience at middle management level.
• The candidate would have sound domain knowledge of XBRL and its future in India and Overseas
• Flair for management of resources and business development
• Excellent soft skills to interact across different stakeholders

Compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate’s credential and would be as mutually agreed.

XBRL (India) holds the right to relax the eligibility criteria for deserving candidates and its decision in this regard shall be final.
