A Virtual CPE Meeting (VCM) on ‘Resurgent Chhattisgarh - Accountability, Transparency & Investment Environment’ was organised by the CP&GFM on June 28, 2020 which was hosted by Raipur branch of CIRC of ICAI . Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh addressed the participants about the possibilities for establishing industries and creating employment opportunities in Chhattisgarh and sought the support of CAs to strengthen financial management of Gram Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies of Chhattisgarh. Apart from Shri Baghel, Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Commerce & Industries, and Shri Sanjay Shukla, IAS, Managing Director, CG State Minor Forest Produce Cooperative Federation Limited also participated in the deliberation. From ICAI, CA. Atul Kumar Gupta, President ICAI, CA. Nihar Niranjan Jambusaria, Vice President ICAI, CA. Dhiraj Kumar Khandelwal, Chairman, CP&GFM, CA.
