New Delhi, the 19^th August, 2008

N0. 1-CA(7)/121/2008: In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 21 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (38 of 1949), and in supersession of the Notification No.1-CA(7)/104/2007 dated 8^th October, 2007, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India hereby designates CA. Smt. Vandana Nagpal, Senior Deputy Secretary of the Institute as the Director (Discipline) to head the Disciplinary Directorate and for making investigations in respect of any information or complaint received by it.  She shall perform such functions as are assigned to her under the said Act and the rules and regulations framed thereunder.
