| In October, 2002, it was brought to the notice of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) that one Mr. R. Rajesh was illegally practicing as a Chartered Accountant in the name and style of M/s R.R. Associates, Chartered Accountants, 23/2, Tiffany’s Building, Vittal Mallya Road, Bangalore. Since M/s R.R. Associates was not a genuine Chartered Accountants firm, an FIR was filed by ICAI through its Bangalore office in Cubbon Park Police Station, Bangalore. Arising out of the said FIR, Criminal Case no. 61/2004 is subjudice in VIIIth ACMM Court, Bangalore wherein charge-sheet no. 8943/2005 has been filed. During the course of the proceedings, the Police has submitted before the Magistrate that the accused is not traceable. |
