A Training programme on the theme “Accounting and Audit Provisions with respect to New Companies Act, 2013” Organized by Committee on Public Finance & Government Accounting of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Jointly with Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India on 24th & 25th July 2014 at Regional Training Institute of C&AG at Chennai.

A Training programme on the theme “Accounting and Audit Provisions with respect to New Companies Act, 2013” Organized by Committee on Public Finance & Government Accounting of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Jointly with Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India on 24th & 25th July 2014 at Regional Training Institute at Chennai. The said training programme was inaugurated by Shri K. P. Anand Prinicipal Director, Regional Training Institute of C&AG Chennai and also present were Dr. Nikhil Saket, Secretary, Committee on Public Finance & Government Accounting of ICAI and CA Venkata Ramana Thota.

Eminent speakers CA Venkata Ramana Thota, CA. Anu Iype John, CA M P Vijay, CA P Anand, CA. Chinnaswamy Ganesan, CA Bhawani Bala Subramanian, CA Saju Sreedhar deliberated on various topics related to theme of the training programme “Accounting and Audit Provisions with respect to New Companies Act, 2013”. Important highlights include: Provision of New Companies Acct and its implication, cash flow statement, Internal Audit, Corporate Social Responsibility and Internal Financial Control.

The said Training Programme was attended by officials of C&AG spread over across offices of C&AG located in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Union Territory of Puducherry.

The training programme ended with the valedictory session and vote of thanks by the Shri Vijayaraghvan N, Sr. Faculty, RTI of C&AG, Chennai.
