With a view to acclimatize the members of the Institute about the best practices in the area of International Taxation and to provide an opportunity to participate and interact with the renowned experts of The International Tax Academy (ITA) of “The International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD), Netherlands, the Committee on International Taxation of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India is now pleased to announce a Study Tour on International Taxation to Amsterdam, Netherlands from 19th August to 24th August, 2012 for the members on self financing basis.

Most current topics are selected for the short duration course of this study tour to ensure maximization of benefits and to empower members of the profession to render high quality professional services in the field of International Taxation. It will be a great opportunity to update your knowledge on the latest development on the subject. A tailor-made course for the ICAI members group which would cover “Treaty Aspects of International Taxation” is offered.
The cost of the above study tour has been tentatively fixed at Rs. 160000/- per person Ex-New Delhi inclusive of Course session fees, Course Material, economy class airfare, relevant visa fee, hotel accommodation on twin-sharing basis, meals, applicable taxes and transport arrangements for meetings, sight seeing etc.
After the completion of the learning course sessions in Amsterdam, if any member interested to go to Belgium, France, London or other European Countries then they are allowed to have extension on self financing basis. However, the same will be subject to the discretion of the tour manager. The details of the same are available with the tour manager.
Since, the delegation size would be restricted to 30 members; registration for the study tour would be done on first-cum-first-serve basis.
