The Council, having regard to the devastating flood in the state of Jammu & Kashmir in the month of September, 2014, has decided that the membership fee and Certificate of Practice fee for the year 2014-15 in respect of members residing in the State of Jammu & Kashmir be extended from 30th September, 2014 to 31st December, 2014 by invoking the provisions as contained in Regulation 205 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

Accordingly, the members residing in the State of Jammu & Kashmir are requested to remit their membership fee and Certificate of Practice fee (wherever applicable) without restoration fee of Rs.1200/- for the year 2014-15 on or before 31st December, 2014 upto 5.30 PM so as to continue to enjoy the benefit of membership and Certificate of Practice of the Institute.

The Council has also decided for the Members who had paid their membership fee and COP fee after 30th September, 2014 along with restoration fee towards retrospective restoration of their Membership to keep their restoration fee into their membership fee account as an advance for future adjustment against membership fee.

It is requested to the Members residing in State of Jammu & Kashmir to deposit their Annual membership fee/Certificate of Practice fee, if not already paid, latest by 31st December, 2014 upto 5:30 PM; in order to avoid removal of the name from the Register of Members and cancellation of Certificate of Practice.
