| The CIRC Chairmen Meet 2008 and Mini orientation programme was held at Jaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI On 18th and 19th. CA. Ved Jain, President ICAI, CA. Uttam Prakash Agarwal, Vice President ICAI has addressed the delegates. CA. Vijay Garg, Central Council Member, CA. Anuj Goyal, Central Council members and entire managing committee of CIRC took part in this meet and Chairmen of 33 out of 35 branches of Central India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India also participated.

| On first day 18th April, CA Uttam Prakash Agarwal, Vice Chairman of ICAI inaugurated the meet and addressed the delegates. He interacted with each chairman, given his vision and discussed the day to day problem faced at branch level. The Vice President has reiterated the concern of council that every branch should have their owned land and building. The branch chairmen shared their difficulties and suggestions. A road map for the year 2008 was also prepared. The suggestions from the branches for celebrating the Golden Jubilee year of the ICAI were also invited.

| A press conference was also organized on 18th April at Jaipur branch in which representatives from different press media participated. CA. Uttam Prakash Agarwal, Vice President ICAI and CA. Vijay Garg, Central Council Member addressed this conference and briefed the reporters about the Institute and its future plans. The formal announcement of putting centre of excellence is being made. |

| After that the CIRC chairman and secretary has interacted the chairman of every branch and discussed in details. |

| SEMINAR ON REAL ESTATE AND JAIPUR BRANCH FELICITATION PROGRAMME |

| Jaipur branch also organized a Seminar on Real Estate on that day. CA. Girish Ahuja, New Delhi was the eminent speaker of this seminar. Dr. Ahuja has elaborately discussed various issues relating to real estate specifically collaboration agreements, development agreements, capital gain and wealth tax issues. Further, the Jaipur branch has felicitated President of ICAI CA. Ved Jain and Vice President of ICAI CA. Uttam Prakash Agarwal by offering bouquet, traditional Rajasthani Safa and Shawl. CA Uttam Prakash Agarwal, Vice President and CA Ved Jain, President addressed the CA members. Ex President CA Sunil Goyal and Ex Central Council members and Regional Council members from Jaipur along with around 500 CA members were present in the promgramme. |

| The entire Regional Council Committee members and Chairman and Secretary of all branches of CIRC were also present in the function. The programme is followed by high tea. |

| MINI ORIENTATION PROGRAMME |

| On 19th April, a mini orientation programme was also arranged for all the Chairmen. The programme was inaugurated by President ICAI CA Ved Jain. He addressed all chairman of CIRC branches and discussed their problems and given suggestion for the fruitful solution. |

| Mr. President has also addressed a small press interview to DNA newspapers of Daink Bhaskar group, and briefed the forthcoming activities of Institute, about Centre of Excellence in Jaipur, Accounting Technician proposal and Diamond Jubilee programme to be organized this year. |

| CA. C.S. Nanda, Central council Member gave presentation on protocol, attitude, management and personality development to all chairmen of CIRC branches. This orientation programme is specially designed for the chairmen of branches to motivate them for better leadership and quality output. |
