| Existing students of PE-II who have not passed PE-I/ Foundation Examination are not allowed to switch over to PCC under the modified Transition Scheme Vide Announcement No. BOS/Announcement/09.2006 dated September 14, 2006. Such students may switch over to CPT on payment of Rs.100 only or continue PE-II till May 2008 examination and thereafter they are eligible to appear in PCE. |
| Earlier it was decided vide Announcement No. Bos/Announcement/fee-structure/227/06 August 14, 2006 that students of Professional Education (Course-I) who want to switch over to CPT under the new scheme of education and training, are required to remit Rs.100. The Board of Studies will provide them study materials free of cost. |
| For the purpose of equity, it has been decided that students of Professional Education (Course-II) who want to switch over to CPT under the new scheme of Education and Training, shall also remit Rs.100 only. The Board of Studies will provide them study materials free of cost. Such students may apply for conversion into CPT in the prescribed application given in the Prospectus of CPT. |
| It is clarified that on qualifying CPT when such students will join Professional Competence Course (PCC), they will be required to pay fees applicable to new admissions to PCC, i.e., Rs.7500. Of course, if such a student has already paid full amount of registration fee for 250 Hours Compulsory Computer Training, they will not be required to pay Rs.2000 on account registration fee for 100 Hours Information Technology Training. In case any such students have already paid first instalment of registration fee for 250 Hours Compulsory Computer Training, then he / she has to pay the balance amount. |
| Students who have already switched over to CPT on payment of Rs.1500 on account of tuition fee of CPT are eligible to get refund. |
