I wish to inform you that the President, in terms of the authority given to him by the Council at its 276th meeting held from 2nd to 5th February, 2008, has reconstituted the Taskforce to work out the final details of the proposed scheme of education and training for Chartered Accountancy Course comprising of the same members as under:-
- CA. Jaydeep Narendra Shah, FCA, Nagpur,
- CA. Vinod Jain, FCA, New Delhi
- CA. Vijay Kumar Gupta, FCA, Faridabad
- CA. Subodh Kumar Agrawal, FCA, Kolkata
- CA. Anuj Goyal, FCA, Ghaziabad
- CA. K. Raghu, FCA, Bangalore
Dr. V. Seshadri, Additional Secretary will provide the office support to above said Task Force.

The terms of reference of the above Task Force would be as under:-
- The Taskforce is to look into the present scheme of education and suggest modification taking into consideration the discussion held in the Council at its 274th meeting held in December, 2007 at Ahmedabad. The draft proceedings of the Council is enclosed for ready perusal so as to address the various issues, which has arisen in the new course scheme introduced in the year 2006.
- The taskforce shall also look into the aspect of providing coaching and its effect on the articleship. The taskforce to consider whether classroom teaching process can be initiated on regular basis by the institute and if yes what methodology need to be followed.
- Any other related matter, which the taskforce may consider relevant to this issue.
