Announcement relating to Supplementary Study Papers-2007 [PCC, PE-II and existing and new Final course]

BOS/Ancmnet-Regional conf./227/07 December 20, 2007 The Board of Studies has come out with supplementary study papers incorporating the amendments made by the Finance Act, 2007 in the following subjects – Taxation – Paper 5 in Professional Competence Course Income-tax and Central Sales-tax – Paper 5 in Professional Education (Course-II) Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes – Papers 7 & 8 of Existing Final Course Direct Tax Laws and Indirect Tax Laws – Papers 7 & 8 of New Final Course. These supplementary study papers contain the amendments made by the Finance Act, 2007 and the important amendments made by notifications/circulars/other legislations between 1.5.2006 and 30.4.2007. Students are advised to study thoroughly the Supplementary Study Paper-2007, since considerable weightage is being given to the latest amendments in the examinations. These Supplementary Study Papers are available at the branches and regional sales counters of the Institute. In this regard, it may be noted that the Supplementary Study Paper – 2007 in “Taxation” is the first supplementary study paper to be published for the Professional Competence Course.
